We designed a custom Canvas App embedded directly within Dynamics CE. Users could now:
- Instantly preview documents from SharePoint, Notes, and other sources
- Merge multiple files into a single PDF with a few clicks
- Upload via drag-and-drop, search by keyword, and share PDFs from inside the app
- View documents in a clean gallery format without lag

The challenge:
Applicants submitted forms via a Power Apps portal. The documents landed in Dynamics 365 Notes — exactly where users expected. But over time, CRM storage ballooned, page loads slowed, and license costs began to spike. The team didn’t want to switch to SharePoint, fearing a loss in usability.

We built a Power Automate flow that moved uploaded documents from Notes to SharePoint immediately upon submission but left behind smart links in Notes that looked and behaved just like the originals.
